Adam has been in the fitness industry for 14 years.
Formerly an international 400m hurdler, Adam is currently an international master trainer for ViPR™ and a UK master trainer for FitPro, specialising in the delivery and development of coaching and communication skills courses and workshops.
Adam regularly presents at the Register of Exercise Professionals quarterly conferences in the UK, has worked as a strength and conditioning coach for the England Rugby Football Union, overseeing the development of international referees, and regularly writes for several publications.
He is considered to be one of London's top six personal trainers in the Evening Standard magazine and his client list ranges from professional golfers, windsurfers and elite-level athletes to business people and de-conditioned clients.
Steve is a former professional footballer with over a decade of experience in the fitness industry, holding various positions in personal training, management, leadership and education in some of the UK’s leading commercial health club chains.
As an educator, Steve co-authored the new Power Plate® and ViPR™ Education Series with Michol Dalcourt, and is a UK master trainer for Power Plate International, presenting and delivering education across the UK and internationally.
Steve has also taken his passion for function and movement into a ‘hands-on’ sports conditioning and performance environment as a director in a new, innovative sports performance company, recently working with an elite British triathlete in her bid for qualification at the 2012 Olympics.
Ben has worked in a range of capacities in health and fitness since 1996, including as a personal trainer, exercise physiologist, in national management roles and as a company director. Making the complex simple by applying scientific research to develop practical tools is what he’s all about. Ben has created and developed qualifications, courses and CPD workshops for large training providers, equipment vendors and large health club chains.
Ben has a special interest in the benefits of exercise for health and is a founder member of the Joint Consultative Forum for Exercise Referral. Engaging as many people as possible in healthier lifestyles is Ben’s passion and his business BlueSkies provides a range of services to improve health and performance at work.
With the philosophy that collaboration is more powerful than competition, Ben works with many organisations that share his vision for increasing participation in exercise and physical activity and empowering people to improve their health. He is dedicated to improving the quality of service delivered by fitness professionals and represents REPs members on their members’ council and oversees the accreditation process for European training providers on behalf of EHFA. An outdoors boy at heart, Ben loves snowboarding, mountain biking and pretty much any other activity that involves fresh air and a sprinkling of adrenaline!
